SSJ-100s staged an aerial carousel in Vladivostok: several aircraft replaced each other within an hour

While the Il-114-300 was preparing to become one of the aviation exhibits at the EEF, the Superjets continued their regular operations

A high-intensity operation of SSJ-100s was recorded on the apron of Knevichi Airport in Vladivostok: within one hour, one Superjet replaced another several times. The footage was published by the United Aircraft Corporation, showing the working rhythm of Primorye's main airport.

The footage appeared against the backdrop of the arrival of the new Il-114-300 in Vladivostok. While the turboprop liner was preparing to participate in the XI Eastern Economic Forum, the normal life of Knevichi continued without pauses. The footage published by OAK shows how Russian SSJ-100s regularly appear on the apron and replace each other.

This is not an uncommon sight for Vladivostok Airport. The SSJ-100 is used on Far Eastern routes, including flights from Knevichi to Blagoveshchensk, Irkutsk, and other cities. The current schedule shows several SSJ-100 flights from Vladivostok, including routes by "Aurora" and "IrAero".

Meanwhile, the appearance of the Il-114-300 in Vladivostok became a separate event. The aircraft arrived in Knevichi before the start of EEF-2026, covering more than 6 thousand km. At the forum, the aircraft will be available for inspection by delegation representatives and potential customers.

The Il-114-300 is particularly interesting for the Far East due to the role of regional aviation. The aircraft is designed for transportation on smaller routes and is considered a replacement for aging An-24s and foreign aircraft of a similar class.

The result was a clear contrast: while the Il-114-300 is just getting acquainted with Vladivostok and preparing for its display at the EEF, the SSJ-100s are already performing daily transport work here.
