The jet "Geran-4" covered a record 960 km in 1 hour 55 minutes. The new result was 60 km more than the previous figure recorded on August 18, when such a drone flew about 900 km.
For "Geran-4", a range of about 550 km was previously stated. Analysts attribute the ability to significantly increase this figure to flying at an altitude of 5–7 km, where aerodynamic drag is reduced. However, such modes make the drone more noticeable to radar systems.
The previous notable result was recorded on August 18. At that time, the jet "Geran" covered about 900 km, and the entire flight took approximately 1 hour 50 minutes.
In ten days, the flight range increased by approximately 60 kilometers – from 900 to 960 kilometers. This achievement became a record for the jet "Geran-4" among all published data.
