According to journalist Maxim Kadakov, AvtoVAZ plans to assemble about 20 thousand Azimut in 2027. At the same time, the established production capacities are designed to produce up to 70 thousand cars per year.

Lada Azimut is a crossover about 4.5 meters long, built on an reinforced Lada Vesta platform. The car received an original body, which was made higher – thanks to this, getting in and out should be more comfortable.

The first Azimut will receive modernized gasoline engines with a volume of 1.6 and 1.8 liters. Later, a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine from an external supplier will be added to the crossover's engine range.
