Successfully and Covertly: How the Russian Military-Industrial Complex Increased Its Power Since 2022

The domestic economy quickly transitioned to producing essential military goods

The Russian military-industrial complex (OAK) has surpassed all NATO countries in its effectiveness. This opinion was expressed by Anton Kobyakov, advisor to the President of the Russian Federation.

According to Kobyakov, the "rapid transition" of the economy to the production of necessary military goods is due to the well-thought-out policy of the country's leadership.

And now, in terms of effectiveness, the Russian military-industrial complex surpasses the USA and even the combined potential of the North Atlantic Alliance.

This, Kobyakov emphasized, is evidenced by the conflict between the US Congress and the current administration over the shortage of missiles and ammunition in American warehouses.

The advisor expressed confidence that in 2022, "the behemoth of the Russian economy would not have turned around so quickly if not for the successfully and covertly implemented decisions."

Alan Lushnikov, head of the Kalashnikov concern, holds a similar opinion. Western sanctions pressure on Russia helped the domestic military-industrial complex accelerate and increase the production volumes of equipment and weapons.

Thus, the concern significantly increased the production of AK-12 assault rifles of the 2023 model. Small arms are supplied to the troops, and foreign customers also show interest in them.

In parallel, the capacities of factories that produce missiles for the Iskander-M OTRK are being increased. Currently, enterprises assemble at least 2 missiles per day.

The superiority of the Russian military-industrial complex over the Western one was previously recognized by foreign media. Sky News indicated that the production of artillery shells in Russia is many times faster and cheaper than in other countries.
