The Moscow plant "Sapfir" has patented a five-spectrum night vision device. The development allows for round-the-clock observation in any weather – in fog, smoke, and low light.

The device combines several channels: a catadioptric lens, optics for transmitting images to a camera, and additional lenses for shooting in different spectral ranges. A thermal imager with two matrix receivers is also built into the device.
The main feature of the design is a mirror-lens with a central aperture and a reflective coating. It allows several optical paths to be placed within a single housing. Additional channels are integrated into the central aperture and the lower part of the lens. The device will be useful for security, observation, and reconnaissance. It allows objects to be recognized at distances inaccessible to conventional systems.
