The future of PD-8 and PD-14 is already at the machines: ODK-Salyut has put over 1500 students into production

Young specialists completed internships on the company's operational equipment

Over 1500 students from Moscow colleges completed production internships at ODK-Salyut, where they worked on CNC machines and other industrial equipment. The internship was organized by the production and training center of the enterprise, which is involved in the production of components for Russian aircraft engines PD-8 and PD-14.

Young specialists were not limited to training stands: they worked on operational equipment, performed production tasks, and mastered operations used in real engine manufacturing.

During the internship, students learned to work with modern machines. They learned to set up numerically controlled equipment, lathes, and milling machines, as well as perform mechanical processing of parts. In addition, students checked the quality of finished products.

Some students gained experience in other stages of aircraft engine production, including assembling power units and participating in tests.

ODK-Salyut is part of the United Engine Corporation of Rostec. The enterprise produces the AI-222-25 aircraft engine and participates in the production of components for PD-8, PD-14, and TV7-117ST-01.
