OAK for the first time gathered employees for a direct conversation: the best team will receive 100 million rubles

More than 1500 participants from 25 sites heard answers to 200 questions on the first Unified Information Day

At the first Unified Information Day of OAK, the corporation's CEO, Vadim Badeha, stated that none of the submitted questions would remain unanswered. The event was held online and brought together more than 1500 employees from 25 production sites.

Employees submitted more than 200 questions about salaries, social packages, working conditions, and development prospects. Badeha announced the expansion of free training programs and the launch of a rating of labor collectives: the best division will receive a challenge cup along with additional funds of up to 100 million rubles to improve working conditions.

The head of OAK also supported the initiative of an employee of AO "Tupolev" to create an "Idea Accelerator," where engineers can present developments to a technical commission. Unified Information Days will become regular, and local stages will be held at enterprises until August 28. In conditions of acute personnel shortage in aircraft manufacturing, such a format is an attempt to retain specialists by giving them direct access to management and real incentives.

Personnel issue in Russian aircraft manufacturing

In 2025, the average salary of OAK employees reached 140 thousand rubles — 35% higher than the average Russian level. Despite this, the personnel shortage remains one of the main problems of the industry: the corporation needs to attract more than 14 thousand production workers in three years, and individual factories — in Ulyanovsk, Kazan, and Komsomolsk-on-Amur — are experiencing a particularly acute shortage of specialists.

Along with attempts to increase staff numbers, OAK is carrying out internal restructuring: about 25% of managers in the Moscow office were cut as part of cost optimization and increased labor productivity. Design bureaus were not affected by the cuts — the focus is on production and engineering personnel. The Unified Information Day fits into this logic: direct dialogue with employees and specific incentives in the form of a team rating are designed to retain those specialists that the corporation has already managed to attract.
