Minsk Motor Plant (OAO UK "MMZ") increased its production volume to 45 thousand units in 2025 due to the development and market launch of new products. MMZ products, including engines of various capacities, are supplied to machine-building enterprises in Belarus, Russia, and CIS countries.
MMZ General Director Alexander Botvinnik stated that the enterprise has achieved a high level of import substitution.
In certain engine modifications, virtually 99.8% of the components we acquire are components from the Union State [an association of Russia and Belarus to deepen cooperation in economic and political spheres — editor's note www1.ru].
The MMZ management has set a task for the enterprise's team in 2026 — to manufacture and test an engine with a capacity of up to 600 hp. The product line will be supplemented with power units for mining equipment, special machinery, and vessels.
Minsk Motor Plant was founded in 1963. The enterprise produces diesel, gas-diesel, and gas-piston engines, diesel generator sets, and components. MMZ-produced units are installed on MTZ, "Amkodor", "Gomselmash", MAZ, and PAZ equipment.
