Kazan Aviation Plant (KAZ), before ramping up mass production of Tu-214 airliners, has opened a vacancy for a process engineer for mechanical production. The announcement appeared on a recruitment website.
The enterprise is ready to pay the specialist from 66 thousand rubles per month before taxes. The applicant is offered a standard 5/2 schedule with an 8-hour workday and full employment under an employment contract.
It is noteworthy that the aircraft plant is ready to consider candidates without work experience, expecting to train the employee in key processes on site. His duties will include technological support of the plant's mechanical production.
This is not the only scarce job position at KAZ recently. Previously, the enterprise opened a search for specialists for hazardous electroplating production with an initial offer of 50 thousand rubles.
According to the latest Rosstat data for May 2026, the average monthly nominal salary in Russia is 110,216 rubles.
The head of OAK, Vadim Badeha, stated that in 2026 KAZ will build four aircraft, in 2027 – eight, and from 2027 – as many as 20 aircraft.
