Robots can already deliver orders to tables, clean halls, and perform some warehouse operations, but they are not yet capable of completely replacing restaurant workers. Vkusno — i Tochka believes that mass automation would increase costs and make service less flexible.

Theoretically, technology could be installed at all stations, entrusting it with cleaning and food delivery. In practice, this would lead to increased costs, which could affect the price of dishes. Moreover, visitors would have to resolve issues not with a person, but with a machine.

I am afraid that in non-standard situations, robots still do not perform as well. Our guests send us so many thanks addressed to our employees; I doubt a robot could compete with a human here.

At the same time, the company considers robotization a part of the future. Routine tasks — order delivery, cleaning, logistics, and warehouse operations — are planned to be transferred to technology. This should free up more time for employees to interact with guests.

Such solutions are already being tested at the chain's restaurant in Moscow's Gorky Park. Cleaning robots are used there, and new self-service formats, screen layouts, and product dispensing areas are being tested.
