The capital's river electric transport will be supplemented by eight "Moscow 1.0" project vessels by the end of 2026, the Moscow government announced. All of them are being built at the "Moscow Shipyard," and four were already launched on May 26.

The modernized version of "Moscow 1.0" has significantly improved passenger comfort: capacity increased from 50 to 56 seats, information screens were completely updated, and improved cabin lighting and climate control systems were introduced. Today, four year-round river routes operate in the city, and their number is planned to increase to seven by 2030.

The "Moscow Shipyard" opened in Nagatinsky Zaton in November 2025, creating over 500 jobs. This environmentally friendly full-cycle production facility can produce up to 40 vessels per year and service over 100. Since the launch of the first electric vessels on June 20, 2023, passengers have already made over 3.9 million trips.
