A new electronic queue system for gas stations has begun testing in Zabaykalsky Krai. Instead of waiting in a live queue, drivers will be able to get a QR code via the "Max" messenger, choose a refueling time, and arrive at the gas station at their designated slot.

Initially, the system will be tested at one of the gas stations in Chita. The regional Ministry of Housing and Communal Services reported that the technology should help organize a more convenient procedure for obtaining fuel.

Drivers will receive QR codes through the national messenger "Max". The authorities explained that this option will eliminate the need for registration on third-party services and simplify access to the system.

Another goal of the new scheme is to protect fuel vouchers from resale. All refueling permits will be linked to the user's account in "Max", which, according to the authorities, will ensure a fairer distribution of fuel among residents.

Governor of Zabaykalsky Krai, Alexander Osipov, said that to get a QR code, one will need to register in a special bot "Toplivo 75" in the "Max" messenger, then submit an application for the next day, choose a convenient time, and specify the type of fuel at a particular gas station.

After successful refueling, a new QR code can be requested again after six days.

The regional authorities announced plans to create an electronic queue at gas stations in early July. At that time, there was talk of developing a special service and regulatory documents that would help regulate queues at gas stations.

However, there are no plans to completely abandon live queues. As the head of the region clarified, regular refueling without prior appointment will also remain.
