The volume of state procurement of cameras, equipment, and services reached 30.8 billion rubles. This is almost three times more than two years earlier. These data were provided by experts from the electronic platform "RTS-tender" after analyzing procurements in the Unified Information System (EIS).
In 2025, more than 330 tenders were held for the purchase of road cameras, components, and related services. In 2023, there were 275 procurements for 10.3 billion rubles, and in 2024 – 293 tenders for 23 billion rubles. Thus, the volume of procurements increased by another 35% over the year.
The most active period of 2025 was the third quarter. During this time, agreements worth 13.3 billion rubles were concluded. More than 10 billion rubles of this amount accounted for several large procurements related to obtaining rights to use systems and databases for controlling parking spaces and recording traffic violations in Moscow.
Growth continued in 2026. In the first three months of the year, the volume of procurements was more than twice as high as in the same period of 2025.
One of the largest procurements at the beginning of 2026 was for the creation of control boundaries using automatic photo and video recording devices to record violations on the roads of Tatarstan. The cost was 286 million rubles.
Most of the funds in the first quarter were allocated to communication services for data transmission from road cameras – they accounted for more than 900 million rubles. Another 880 million rubles were spent on the purchase of cameras, components, and their installation.
470 million rubles were allocated for equipment rental, and about 300 million rubles for diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of systems. In addition, 11 million rubles were allocated for the purchase of dummy road cameras.
RTS-tender suggests that indicators for road cameras and related services will continue to grow until the end of 2026.
