Manufacturer of Pantsir-M SAM systems faces lawsuits totaling 2.4 billion rubles

PAO "Imperatorsky Tula Arms Plant" keeps KBP Shipunov in court

One of the largest legal disputes in the defense industry continues in Tula. The Imperatorsky Tula Arms Plant has filed 14 lawsuits against the KBP Instrument Design Bureau named after A. G. Shipunov (KBP), with total claims exceeding 2.4 billion rubles.

Just last week, the Arbitration Court of the Tula Region received four new lawsuits totaling over 150 million rubles. The largest of these is almost 144 million rubles.

The most significant claims against the designers were made in spring. In March, the arms plant filed several lawsuits, the largest of which amounted to 848.9 million and 700.8 million rubles. Another January lawsuit for 39.5 million rubles has already been satisfied by the court, but KBP is appealing this decision.

All cases are being heard in closed sessions, as the enterprises operate in the defense industry.

KBP Shipunov produces high-precision Pantsir-M anti-aircraft missile systems, Krasnopol artillery systems, and Hermes-A missile systems for the army.
