Russian troops have begun receiving new generation electronic warfare (EW) systems "Lyustra 5-30", one of the main features of which is a modular design. The delivery of new EW assets was announced by Alexey Zhuravlev, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense.

Damaged system elements can be replaced directly in the field, without removing the entire complex from the combat vehicle.

Mobile fire groups with FPV interceptors, as well as new generation EW systems - "Lyustra 5-30" - are being introduced into the troops.

The "Lyustra" design consists of five quick-release modules, each of which includes two jammer generators. If one of the blocks is damaged by shrapnel, it can be quickly replaced on site, which allows the equipment to be returned to service faster.

The "Lyustra 5-30" operates in the range from 100 to 6300 MHz, covering the frequencies used by most modern FPV drones and common commercial UAVs.
