The Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) received an aviation training center certificate, which will allow it to independently train pilots and aviation technicians to work with the new LMS-901 "Baikal" aircraft. The document was issued by Rosaviatsiya.
The enterprise has developed retraining programs for various categories of aviation personnel. Specialized computer classes, interactive models, and distance learning systems have been created for training.
This opens up the possibility of developing training programs for retraining flight and technical personnel for new aircraft, including the LMS-901 "Baikal".
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stated that the "Baikal" should be ready for serial production no later than the end of 2026.
Oleg Smirnov, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Commission of the Public Council of Rostransnadzor, called for an investigation into where billions for the development of LMS-901 went.
