The Soyuz launch vehicle, which will send the crew of the 75th expedition to the ISS on July 14, 2026, will be decorated with drawings by children with oncological diseases. As reported to TASS by the "Skifyonok" project of the Unity charitable foundation and the Roscosmos state corporation, this will be the second such event: the first launch of the "Dream Rocket" from Baikonur took place on November 27, 2025, involving 4,000 children from 14 countries.
The Soyuz MS-29 spacecraft itself has completed another stage of ground preparation. A leak test was conducted in a vacuum chamber using a helium-air mixture, capable of detecting even microscopic cracks in compartments and systems. The spacecraft has now been moved to its workstation for further procedures. In the coming days, checks of the automated combined propulsion system and the descent control system, as well as refueling of the thermal control system's coolant lines, are planned.
The main crew of the ISS-75 mission includes Roscosmos cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov and Anna Kikina, as well as NASA astronaut Anil Menon. Konstantin Borisov, Dmitry Petelin, and NASA astronaut Denise Burnham have been appointed as backups.
After the first launch, people from different countries began to contact the organizers with a request to make the project even larger – and now the "Dream Rocket" is going into space again.
