At the ODK-Saturn enterprise in Rybinsk, young engineers, students, and specialists participating in aircraft engine development programs were involved in improving production efficiency directly on the factory floors. This was reported by the ODK press service.
Participants were divided into teams and sent to assembly and mechanical assembly units. There, they analyzed real production processes, looked for ways to improve logistics, increase labor productivity, and optimize workplace organization.
The enterprise and the industry as a whole are on the verge of significant changes. And our future depends on how quickly we can implement these changes.
According to the organizers, the program's goal is to involve young specialists in solving practical production problems even before they take key engineering positions.
Among the forum participants were employees working on the corporation's promising product programs, including projects for modern aircraft engines.
ODK-Saturn is a key manufacturer of PD-8 engines for the import-substituted Superjet. The power plant's certification has already been completed.
