LMS-192 "Osvey" Stuck in Drawings, But Hope Dies Last

New Aircraft to Boost Trade Between Russia and Belarus

The new joint Russian-Belarusian aircraft LMS-192 "Osvey" will strengthen the economy and increase trade between the states. This was stated by the Russian Ambassador to the republic, Yuri Seliverstov.

According to him, work on the creation of "Osvey" continues, with the Ural Civil Aviation Plant and the 558th Aircraft Repair Plant in Baranovichi participating.

Undoubtedly, such projects should lead to even greater trade.

It should be noted that the LMS-192 has not yet even passed the stage of drafting experimental design documentation at UZGA, as reported by Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Gennady Abramenkov. The transition to creating a prototype is possible only after this stage is completed.

State Secretary of the Union State Sergey Glazyev clarified that work on the creation of "Osvey" will be completed in the next two years. He admitted that he does not understand the reason for the delay, as everything necessary for production is already available.
