Texas Instruments, Samsung, and Raspberry parts found in Geran-2 drones

Processors and microchips turned out to be imported

Dozens of foreign electronic components – from American processors to Japanese capacitors and British Raspberry Pi – were found inside Russian Geran-2 attack drones. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Voennaya Khronika" with reference to foreign sources.

Among the discovered components are an inertial module and digital signal processors from American manufacturers, a satellite module from the Swiss company u-blox, Japanese Omron relays and muRata elements, as well as a British single-board computer Raspberry Pi 4.

The list of manufacturers includes Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, Qorvo, Infineon, NXP Semiconductors, and Samsung Electro-Mechanics. Some components are manufactured in China and Taiwan.

A Chinese gyro-stabilized camera and a radio modem were also found in the drone.

Earlier, the official characteristics of the Geran-2 were revealed. The drone accelerates to 190 km/h and has a maximum range of up to 1800 km.
