From June 1, families with two or more children can apply for a new payment through the "Gosuslugi" portal. This support measure provides for the return of a portion of the personal income tax paid last year. The amount of the payment is calculated as the difference between the actually paid tax and the amount of tax calculated at a 6% rate. Details were disclosed by the Social Fund of Russia.
To receive the new payment, the family must have two or more children. The average family income must not exceed 1.5 times the regional living wage per person.
There are also requirements for the age of the children. They must be under 18 years old. If the child is studying full-time, the age limit is higher – up to 23 years old.
Another important condition: the parent applying must not have any alimony debts. In addition, personal income tax must have been accrued for the year for which the family wants to receive support. Without this, the payment is not calculated.
You can apply for the payment only for one past year and only once. Typically, the Social Fund of Russia reviews the application within 10 business days. After that, the money is transferred to the specified bank account.
In some cases, the family may need additional documents. Then the applicant will have to personally visit the MFC or a branch of the Social Fund of Russia. Applications will be accepted until September 30.
