"Octava" Showcased New Microphones, Headsets, and Audio Recorder

The plant demonstrated its products at the CIPR exhibition

The Tula-based company "Octava DM" (Rostec's technological partner) presented several of its own developments in electroacoustics at the "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" (CIPR) IT forum: the AB-400 audio badge, the MKE-230-2 bidirectional digital microphone, the MKE-250-2 desktop gooseneck microphone, the ARD-4-USB audio recorder, and GK-4 computer headsets.

The central novelty is the AB-400 hardware and software complex. This miniature audio badge attaches to an employee's clothing and autonomously records conversations in high quality. The device is positioned as a replacement for a mystery shopper. Using its own software, the badge connects to a computer, converts recorded audio into text, and highlights specified keywords. The product helps businesses conduct speech analytics and resolve conflict situations when communicating with clients and partners.

In addition, the company showcased the MKE-230-2 bidirectional digital microphone for recording dialogues between two interlocutors (client and operator) sitting opposite each other. The device is used for quality control and resolving disputed situations. Along with it, they presented the MKE-250-2 desktop gooseneck microphone for conference call systems, director's consoles, theaters, and cinema.

The line was supplemented by the ARD-4-USB autonomous audio recorder. It receives, processes, and records audio streams from digital microphones via the USB protocol. The manufacturer calls it a device with no analogues on the market.

Also presented at the stand were GK-4 computer headsets for call centers with high noise levels, quiet meeting rooms, and remote work. The headsets combine high sound clarity and a noise reduction system.
