Kolskaya Shipyard (a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation) will build a shipbuilding workshop with a total area of 1500 square meters on the shore of the Kola Bay in Murmansk. Small vessels will be assembled here. This was reported by the press service of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (KRDV).
The construction of shipbuilding infrastructure will begin in 2027 after the land plot is registered. The shipyard will feature assembly, finishing, and mechanical workshops, a slipway, and a quay wall. The project cost will be about 27 million rubles, with a completion period until 2031.
We expect to occupy our niche in the market of sports and pleasure boats due to high-quality, reliable solutions and products.
Shapovalov noted that Murmansk has a developed maritime and river infrastructure. He expressed hope that there would be demand for the shipyard's products and ship repair services.
The Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation is the largest SEZ in the world. Its participants receive tax benefits, as well as land plots without bidding.
In the Murmansk region, 314 residents of the AZRF are implementing investment projects under agreements with KRDV. The total investment volume exceeds 371 billion rubles.
