Su-57 Production Volume in Russia Increased 10-fold

MWM: Export Orders Were the Reason

Russia has significantly increased the production of Su-34 and Su-57 combat aircraft amid a substantial rise in export demand. This was stated by the American publication Military Watch Magazine (MWM).

Analysts believe that the sharp increase in demand from foreign customers was a key factor.

In particular, the production of Su-34 bombers has at least doubled since 2022. The increase for the Su-57 is even more significant.

Thus, the production of fifth-generation fighters has increased more than 10-fold.

Western observers added that export orders will push the Russian aviation industry to expand production.

Recall that Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov reported on May 7 that the volume of combat aircraft production in the Russian Federation has doubled over the past four years. OAK also began testing the Su-57 with a new second-stage engine, which will provide supersonic speed without afterburner.

Officially, the Su-57 has not yet been sold abroad. However, a lot of footage of the fighter's tests in the skies over Algeria went viral online. Also, India maintains interest in it, and there were also rumors that Malaysia was eyeing the aircraft.
