Production of powerful BELARUS 3522 tractors doubled at MTZ

Belarusian Prime Minister Turchin ordered production of at least 85 units per month

At the Minsk Tractor Works (OAO \"MTZ\"), production of high-powered BELARUS 3522 tractors (with an engine output of 150 hp and above) has increased by 219% since the beginning of the year compared with 2025. This was stated by Pavel Lisovsky, head of MTZ's mechanical assembly production.

From January to March 2025, 122 tractors were produced. In the first quarter of the current year — 268 units.

This is 17 machines more than had been planned for production during this period.

In January, Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin visited MTZ production sites. He was shown examples of high-powered agricultural machinery. The head of government set the task for the plant's management to produce no fewer than 85 BELARUS 3522 tractors per month.

The powerful wheeled tractor of the fifth traction class is intended for carrying out agricultural work, including pre-sowing soil cultivation, sowing as part of combined units, and harvesting. The machine is equipped with a 355 hp Cummins engine.
