Russian-made Haval Jolion updated: what has changed in the 2026 model

Prices have hardly changed, the starting version has only increased by 50 thousand rubles

Haval Jolion, a compact crossover from the Chinese automaker, which is assembled in Tula, has been updated. Haval has modernized it at its Russian plant, introducing the 2026 model with improved technical characteristics, an updated interior and new functions.

The appearance of the crossover has not changed, but there are noticeable improvements under the hood of the all-wheel drive version. The 150-horsepower engine retained its previous output, but the torque increased from 230 to 270 N⋅m. The engineers reduced the compression ratio from 11.8 to 11.0, which reduced the acceleration to hundreds from 9.8 to 9.1 seconds. The environmental class of the engine was brought up to Euro-6, and the passport fuel consumption decreased by 0.3–0.8 liters per 100 kilometers, depending on the driving mode. The front-wheel drive version with a 143-horsepower unit remained unchanged.

The ergonomics have been redesigned in the cabin: a blower speed controller and an audio system volume wheel have been added under the central screen. The transmission mode selection washer has been replaced with a vertical joystick, and the central tunnel has been rearranged for greater convenience. Wireless charging has been upgraded to 50W, the steering wheel has a thicker rim, and the front panel has an updated background lighting pattern and USB-C ports.

The multimedia system has acquired a new interface and a voice assistant that recognizes about 300 commands and works without an Internet connection. Connecting smartphones via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is now wireless.

The light gray interior trim option has been excluded from the range of trim levels. At the same time, prices remained at the same level: the basic version rose by only 50 thousand rubles — from 2 to 2.05 million rubles, and the remaining modifications are offered for 2.45–2.9 million rubles.

Representatives of the brand note that the updates are aimed at improving comfort and practicality without radically revising the cost. Owners of previous versions have already appreciated the reliability of the units, and the new improvements are designed to reinforce this impression.
