The Ufa manufacturer of engines for Su-57 fighters, the UEC-UMPO plant, is threatened with bankruptcy proceedings. The Moscow company "Legal Force" intends to apply for the recognition of the enterprise as insolvent on behalf of the Novosibirsk NPP "Termotekh".
The notification was published on the official website of Fedresurs. Lawyers noted that UEC-UMPO has signs of bankruptcy, and a supervision procedure and approval of an arbitration manager may be introduced in relation to the plant.
The company "Legal Force" clarified that the notification of intent to file a lawsuit with the court is related to the April decision of the Arbitration Court to issue a writ of execution for the recovery of 8.5 million rubles from UMPO under the supply agreement of May 2025
UEC-UMPO is a key engine manufacturer of Su-57, Su-27, Su-30 and Su-35S fighters. At the end of 2025, the plant's net losses reached 14.3 billion rubles.
