"They lied": Russian expert responded to American article about Su-57

Vasily Dandykin: Our fighter is more maneuverable than the American one

The United States has stated that the radar signature of the Su-57 may be significantly inferior to the F-35 Lightning II. Military expert Vasily Dandykin called such comparisons biased and related to competition in the defense sector to "First Technical".

19FortyFive magazine stated that the Su-57 may have an effective scattering area thousands of times higher than the F-35 Lightning II.

Well, it's like always: as Trump says - "super-duper". But in this context, of course, I think they lied in order to present their plane [in a better light].
Vasily Dandykin, Captain of the First Rank

Dandykin recalled that interest in the Russian fighter remains abroad, including from India. The military expert emphasized that the Su-57 has high maneuverability and modern solutions to reduce visibility.

Our plane, in addition to everything else, is much more maneuverable, that's for sure. As for visibility, the weapons are hidden inside the fuselage, and everything is fine with radio-absorbing materials there as well.

In addition, the Su-57 is capable of operating in conjunction with drones, which expands its combat capabilities and corresponds to modern trends in aviation development.

The head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, stated that the Su-57 is absolutely in no way inferior to its American competitor. He also emphasized that the domestic development is much cheaper.
