The first domestic telescopic gangway, developed by the High-Precision Systems holding (part of Rostec), has passed a cycle of winter tests and confirmed the stated characteristics. According to the state corporation, the design is currently at the stage of refinement - changes are being made to the prototype based on the test results, after which the product will be sent for certification.
The passenger boarding bridge is designed for operation in the range from -50°C to +50°C. Special hydraulic components and frost-resistant rubber products eliminate failures during heavy precipitation and icing. The design allows you to change the height, length and configuration of the docking unit, which ensures compatibility with all types of aircraft - from regional aircraft to long-haul airliners.
Rostec emphasized that the task is not just to replace imported solutions, but to create a product that surpasses them in key characteristics.
Today, a passenger boarding bridge is no longer just a "sleeve", but a complex infrastructure complex with automation, remote control and integration into the airport's digital systems.
The development is proceeding in parallel with the testing of new aircraft and the modernization of airfield infrastructure as part of the course towards technological independence of the aviation industry.
