Journalists recalled that the NK-32 maintains stable power even in extremely high temperatures and pressures, while most American power units constantly face problems maintaining high thrust.
Russia classifies the NK-32 as its strategic asset and flatly refuses to export it to other countries, even to partner states such as China.
As for China, its modern power units have become much more powerful than before, but are still inferior to Russian ones in resistance to high temperatures.
As a reminder, NK-32 engines are built at the ODK-Kuznetsov plant in the Samara region. The company secured orders for products until 2027, said Deputy General Director Oleg Vydumlev.
