Russian company Caviar celebrated Apple's 50th anniversary with a custom iPhone17

The new smartphone was "rolled back" to the 2007 model

Another ultra-expensive iPhone has been shown in Russia — this time with a fragment of the original motherboard of the first iPhone. The model is called iPhone 2007 and continues the anniversary line dedicated to Apple's 50th anniversary.

The project was launched by the Russian company Caviar, which specializes in very expensive custom devices. The previous version from this series — with a piece of Steve Jobs' turtleneck — sold out in just 10 days. Now the focus is on "hardware from the past."

The case of the new smartphone contains a sealed capsule in the shape of the Apple logo, inside which there is a part of the board of the very first iPhone 2007. Around it is an engraving referring to the engineering diagrams of the device, as well as Jobs' signature.

The basis is the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, but only the filling remains from the standard models. The case is made of titanium, and the design emphasizes the collectible status of the device.

The circulation is only 11 copies. The kit includes a premium box and a commemorative coin made of 999 gold.

The price starts from 679 thousand rubles — and, judging by past sales, there will be those who want to buy it.
