The overalls, sewn from materials of Russian production, were tested in the Research Institute's pool. Divers performed jumps from a height into the water, and also tested the suit for strength when suspended on a rescue hook.

Such special clothing was developed for the needs of the Navy for the first time. Prior to this, only individual life jackets were in service.

Advantages of the work-rescue suit:

  • ease of putting on and wearing
  • positive buoyancy (floats to the surface)
  • protects against hypothermia in water for 1 hour

The development is intended for carrying out work on the upper deck of a ship, submarine or vessel in adverse weather conditions.
