The Rostov design bureau "Stapel" reported the completion of work on the RDB 75.02 floating multifunctional platform project. The documentation has been handed over to the customer, the company "Likvidator".
The new platform is a non-self-propelled modular pontoon equipped with spud piles. The design is universal: depending on the equipment installed on the deck, the vessel is capable of performing various production tasks. The key area is dredging operations: excavation of underwater trenches, bank line treatment, and clearing of water bodies using an excavator.
When fitted with an excavator with an extended boom, the working depth reaches eleven meters. Installation of a crane for cargo-handling or construction operations is also possible, as well as other equipment weighing up to 75 tons.
The platform hull is modular: six sections (four central and two side sections) are connected by a locking method. The dimensions of each module — 12.5 x 2.4 x 2.0 meters — allow them to be transported by road, rail, or water. The locking connection makes it possible to assemble the platform in different configurations for specific operating conditions.
The vessel belongs to the category of FAU "RKO" with ice strengthening O 2.0 (ice 20). It can be used on inland waterways of classes "L", "R", and "O". Operation in small broken ice up to 20 cm thick is also permitted.
