The United Engine Corporation (UEC) is working on creating new modifications of the engine for the energy industry based on the AL-41ST-25 gas generator. The company sees the expansion of the power plant's application as a promising direction.
Andrey Vorobyov, General Director of UEC Engineering, noted that the AL-41ST series engines surpass their predecessors in key parameters — power, efficiency, and environmental friendliness.
The modification, which is planned to be created on the basis of AL-41ST, is suitable both for creating new generation facilities within the framework of the national project and for replacing foreign engines. Today, UEC has all the necessary competencies and production capacities to implement any projects.
UEC recalled that the AL-41ST series has become a new generation of industrial gas turbine engines for import substitution in the gas transportation industry in the most demanded power segment of 25 and 32 MW.
The newest engine modification — AL-41ST-25 with a service life of 120,000 hours, with the possibility of increasing to 150,000 hours.
As a reminder, the AL-41ST-25 was developed on the basis of aviation technologies of the AL-41F1 engine family ("Product 117"), which are installed on Su-57 fighters.
