Corvettes "Sovershennyy" and "Rezkiy" of the Pacific Fleet Departed from Chittagong Port

Project 20380 ships completed a business visit to the Republic of Bangladesh

The Russian multi-purpose second-rank corvettes "Sovershennyy" and "Rezkiy" (Project 20380) of the Pacific Fleet have completed a business visit to the Republic of Bangladesh. This was reported by the fleet's press service.

The ships departed from Chittagong port and began performing tasks in the Asia-Pacific region.

During their stay in Bangladesh, the crews of "Sovershennyy" and "Rezkiy" participated in events dedicated to the demining of Chittagong port in 1972-1974. In addition, the Russian sailors met with representatives of the Bangladesh Navy.

The Project 20380 corvettes set out on a long voyage from the port of Vladivostok on February 12. "Sovershennyy" and "Rezkiy" made friendly visits to the port of Georgetown, the port of Thilawa, and the port of Visakhapatnam.

Project 20380 corvettes are designed for the near and far sea zone. The ships are being built at the Severnaya Verf and Amur Shipbuilding Plant.

"Sovershennyy" and "Rezkiy" are carriers of missile weapons, including "Kalibr", "Onyx", and "Zircon" missiles. The corvettes are also equipped with the small-sized anti-submarine complex "Paket-NK".
