The only operating microelectronic foundry in Russia – St. Petersburg-based JSC "Svetlana-Rost" – ended 2025 with a 40% drop in net profit, to 165.4 million rubles. The previous year, this figure was 282.9 million rubles. This data follows from the published accounting statements of the enterprise.
At the same time, the company's revenue increased by 23% – to 772.7 million rubles. The main income came from sales of products and services (702.3 million rubles), with the largest customers being "UPKB" (289.4 million) and "TsKBA" (343.4 million). The company also received 35 million rubles from research and development work.
The company's balance sheet decreased by 35% to 1.4 billion rubles. Accounts receivable decreased by more than half (by 52%), amounting to 207.5 million rubles. Accounts payable reached 193.7 million rubles.
Market participants surveyed by CNews portal note that the situation with falling profits in 2025 is typical for most microelectronic enterprises in the country – due to budget cuts and lower demand.
"Svetlana-Rost" is the only foundry in Russia that provides external customers with comprehensive design tools and a full production cycle. The company produces microchips using 0.5 and 0.25 μm technologies, and also manufactures epitaxial structures, matrix IR photodetectors, and modules based on them. The company employs 120 people.
