Russian engineers have developed a new unmanned interceptor called "Ghost". The military needed a compact and portable complex that can be used without additional devices. Unlike the "Yolka" model, which required a manual catapult, the new interceptor allows the operator to launch it directly from the hands. The developers paid special attention to ease of use in the field, taking into account the wishes of the military.
Before the flight, the team will be able to quickly change the configuration of the aircraft. Depending on the task, you can install various combat modules and cameras. In addition, the replacement of batteries of different capacities is provided. Engineers have implemented remote control. The system also supports manual mode. Algorithms are constantly being improved based on real flight data. The creators noted that such adaptability allows you to effectively use the device to perform a variety of tasks in the air.
Special attention was paid to night flights. The drone is equipped with a thermal imager. There is an option with a night camera or infrared illumination. The exact parameters have not yet been disclosed, only flexible configuration for tasks is known. The creators noted the possibility of quick replacement of components in the field. The whole structure is adapted to intercept enemy copters. Another advantage is the versatility of the platform for various combat conditions.
