New Belgee X50+ Spotted in Belarus Ahead of Sales Launch

Four-cylinder engine, updated design, and prices - everything you need to know before buying

An updated Belgee X50+ has been spotted in Belarus — a compact crossover that is being prepared for launch in Russia and the Republic of Belarus. The car is built on the platform of the latest Geely Coolray, which is sold in China with the prefix L in the name. This version debuted in foreign markets at the end of 2025, and at the beginning of 2026 it is already being offered to buyers in Kazakhstan.

The new model is not related to the first Coolray restyling — the latest version of the Chinese crossover was taken as a basis. This explains the similarity in dimensions and architecture, but with noticeable changes in appearance and technical equipment. According to certification documents, the model's length is 4380 mm, width is 1810 mm, height is 1615 mm, wheelbase is 2600 mm, and ground clearance is 182 mm. Compared to the current Belgee X50, the car has become 50 mm longer and 10 mm wider, while the remaining parameters have remained the same.

The front of the crossover has a massive air intake, which visually echoes the solution on the Exeed TXL from Chery. On the sides of the grille are narrow blocks of head optics. At the rear, a single light strip of lights and an expressive spoiler on the roof were installed. Decorative twin tailpipes of the exhaust system are noticeable in the rear bumper — however, this is only a stylistic element: the real exhaust is hidden under the bottom and directed downwards.

The interior, judging by the continuity with Coolray L, should receive a 14.6-inch vertical multimedia screen with Android Auto support and an 8.8-inch digital instrument panel. The central tunnel, as expected, will also be updated for a more modern look.

Under the hood is a new 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with a capacity of 147 hp and a torque of 270 N·m. It replaces the previous three-cylinder unit with the same output, but with less torque (255 N·m). The gearbox remained the same — a seven-speed robot with two clutches. The declared consumption in the combined cycle is about 6.5 l/100 km.

Prices have not yet been announced, but you can focus on the current range for the regular X50: from 2.48 to 2.69 million rubles in the Russian Federation (taking into account discounts — from 2.08 million) and from 66,000 to 77,640 Belarusian rubles in the Republic of Belarus.
