As a reminder, the PD-8 was planned to be certified at the end of 2025, but was eventually postponed to the first quarter of 2026.

Rostec reported that the PD-8 had successfully completed the most difficult 150-hour certification test — a test under maximum operating load.

Recently, the PD-8's electrical system was also tested under powerful electrical discharges. The equipment withstood and fully maintained its operability in emergency conditions.
