"Kalashnikov" suffered 35 million rubles in damages from fraud with parts

The supplier is accused of transferring substandard semi-finished products under a state defense order

The Kalashnikov arms concern (part of Rostec) suffered damage of over 35 million rubles due to the supply of substandard parts. Law enforcement agencies are investigating a fraud case related to the execution of a contract under a state defense order.

The investigation believes that the contractor transferred semi-finished products for ammunition to the enterprise that did not meet the technical requirements, despite awareness of the violations.

The head of the contracting companies, Alexey Morokhov, is the accused in the case. Also, the director and founder of the supplier company, Alexey Ledenev, and the former director, Yuri Chernyshev, became defendants.

The court has already chosen preventive measures - Morokhov was arrested, Ledenev is under recognizance not to leave, Chernyshev was prohibited from certain actions. The investigation continues.
