Equipment supplier for ODK-Kuznetsov faces threat of bankruptcy

The Federal Tax Service seeks to have Samara-Aviagaz declared insolvent over debts

The Samara plant Samara-Aviagaz risks entering bankruptcy proceedings following a lawsuit by the Federal Tax Service of Russia. The tax authorities are seeking to recover about 58 million rubles in debt.

The court has temporarily left the application without progress, obliging the claimant to submit additional documents for the hearing at the beginning of March. The enterprise manufactures equipment for gas pumping units and compressor stations.

According to SPARK-Interfax, the company’s accounts have been frozen in several banks, and the amount of enforcement proceedings exceeds 225 million rubles. The largest creditor is ODK-Kuznetsov — the debt owed to it is estimated at approximately 154 million rubles.

The enterprise’s financial difficulties have continued for several years. In 2024, revenue amounted to about 757 million rubles with minimal profit. Previously, the plant had already faced bankruptcy attempts, but settled creditors’ claims.

Now the situation is being aggravated by account seizures and major lawsuits, which limit settlements with partners and increase the risk of launching full-scale insolvency proceedings.

Samara-Aviagaz is a developer and manufacturer of equipment for the construction and reconstruction of compressor stations and power plants, as well as for the modernization and comprehensive overhaul of gas pumping units.
