Russian military personnel have equipped the Courier unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) with a reactive flamethrower. The new version has demonstrated high efficiency, according to a source in the defense industry.
According to him, Russian Armed Forces personnel are using various UGVs. They are modifying ground robots for specific combat missions.
This should be useful in terms of real impact on the balance of power.
The multifunctional robotic platform has been developed by engineers from Buryatia since 2022. Later, specialists from the "Kulibin Club" joined the project.
The Courier UGV is used for:
- attacking the enemy
- demining
- setting up aerosol screens
- evacuating the wounded
- delivering cargo
Ground robots have been supplied to the Russian Armed Forces since the fall of 2024. The complexes have received high praise from military personnel.
