Russian engineers have developed their own aircraft collision avoidance system that no country in the world has been able to create. This was announced by the head of Rosaviatsiya Dmitry Yadrov.
The head of the agency clarified that the complex models every collision that can occur in the air.
Last year, Rosaviatsiya completed the development of a research project to create a system, on the basis of which four technical specifications were formed. And every collision that can occur in the air was modeled. More than a million runs were made as part of the modeling complex.
The founder of the flight safety and certification service RunAvia, Andrey Patrakov, explained to "Perviy Technicheskiy" that the absence of its own TCAS collision avoidance system is the main problem of domestic civil aviation. Without such a complex, aircraft are simply prohibited from taking to the sky.
In December 2025, it became known that Russia had completed the certification of key domestic onboard flight safety systems. Rosaviatsiya issued certificates of suitability to the Navigator Aviation Instrumentation Institute from St. Petersburg.
