Mi-8 Manufacturer Drowned in Debts of 1.7 Billion Rubles for TV3-117VM Engines

"ODK-Klimov" Filed Seven Lawsuits Against KVZ

St. Petersburg-based enterprise "ODK-Klimov" has filed seven lawsuits with the Arbitration Court of Tatarstan against the Kazan Helicopter Plant (KVZ) for a total amount of about 881 million rubles. Both enterprises are part of the Rostec State Corporation.

The disputes concern debts for the supply of TV3-117VM helicopter engines. Since October 2025, "Klimov" has filed five applications for the issuance of writs of execution and two lawsuits.

In four cases, the court has already issued documents for the forced recovery of 62 million rubles. Another lawsuit for 784 million rubles is under consideration.

The court also returned the plaintiff's application for 875 million rubles due to procedural violations. Taking into account the returned claim, the total amount of ODK-Klimov's claims reaches 1.76 billion rubles.

Court materials indicate that TV3-117VM engines were supplied in 2022–2024 for helicopters of the Mi-8 family. The Kazan plant did not pay for part of the deliveries within the established time frame. The manufacturer charged a penalty at a rate of 0.1% of the debt amount for each day of delay.
