At the Rosele holding company (part of Rostec), a new tablet computer, the "PK-S," has been developed. This was reported by the enterprise's press service.
The tablet is intended for equipping communications hardware and industrial equipment as an input and output device for information. Final tests of the "PK-S" have already begun.
The new product is capable of operating at temperatures from -20°C to +50°C, as well as in conditions of high humidity up to 98% and low atmospheric pressure.
The "PK-S" runs on the domestic ASTRA LINUX operating system. It is equipped with four USB 2.0 ports, has up to 8 GB of RAM, and supports an ECC module that automatically detects and corrects memory errors that occur.
The tablet's application is not limited exclusively to communications hardware. It can be adapted to the requirements of various industries, including automotive manufacturing and machine tool equipment. Signal CEO Anton Balitsky noted that creating the company's own device helps achieve independence from external suppliers and has commercial potential.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rosele increased production by 2.5 times.
