Sber bought more than 40% of the shares of the microelectronics manufacturer

Sber acquired 41.9% of the shares of the Element Group (microelectronics manufacturer) for 27 billion rubles. Rostec retained a 41.66% stake, the state corporation's press service reported.

The technology giant bought 37.6% of the shares from PJSC AFK Sistema and 4.3% from minority shareholders. In addition, Sber, represented by the Integral Systems organization, expects to acquire securities from other holders.

Alexander Nazarov, Deputy General Director of Rostec, welcomed the entry of the largest bank into the capital of the Element Group. According to him, the microelectronics of this manufacturer is used in the creation of the state corporation's equipment.
