The Lipetsk Mechanical Plant (LMZ) has modernized production workshops. New mobile filter ventilation systems were installed in the welding areas and additional lighting was installed, the Kalashnikov concern said.
They clarified that the modernization of the ventilation system became part of the infrastructure development plans of the enterprise.
In 2026, LMZ will continue the phased improvement of fixed assets for the effective implementation of modern technological solutions and the creation of a safe working environment.
Our key task is to stably and successfully fulfill obligations to customers. Updating the engineering infrastructure in the workshops of the enterprise allows us to improve working conditions and reduce production risks.
As a reminder, LMZ produces chassis for S-300 "Antey" anti-aircraft missile systems. The plant also produces lattice screens and dynamic protection kits for armored vehicles. In 2024, the company opened a new line for the repair of combat tracked vehicles.
