According to the corporation’s plan, the new bureau will in a short time make it possible to begin developing a low-speed engine and prepare the industrial base for moving to serial production.

As part of the implementation of the first stage of the project, OAK engaged the Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ), together with which it has already completed a package of pre-project preparation work, noted the corporation’s Deputy Director General Sergey Bondarenko.

The successful completion of the first stage of the project to create a domestic low-speed engine allows OAK to complete cooperation with KMZ in this area. In this regard, the corporation is exiting KMZ’s capital and returning it to its previous owners.
