The manufacturer of the Su-57 needs an IR signature specialist

Sukhoi Design Bureau is looking for an employee with at least three years of experience

The Sukhoi Experimental Design Bureau (OKB) has begun searching for a qualified infrared signature specialist. The announcement of the open vacancy was published on one of the recruitment websites.

Among the requirements are education in physics, particularly optics and thermodynamics, and at least 3 years of work experience. The applicant must know the laws of thermal radiation, optics, and thermodynamics, and also be familiar with modern materials and technologies used to reduce visibility in the IR range.

The specialist's responsibilities include analyzing the thermal radiation of an aircraft, preparing reports based on the results of calculations and tests—both bench and full-scale. It should be noted that the salary is not specified.

As a reminder, the Sukhoi Design Bureau is engaged in the design and development of military and civil aviation equipment. These include the Su-57 fighters, the Su-34 and Su-30, as well as the civil aircraft Sukhoi Superjet 100.
