Almost 44 billion rubles will be allocated for a new preferential leasing program for civilian vessels

Manturov: The funds will be directed toward the construction of 50 passenger vessels

The parameters of a separate program for renewing the aging fleet, including the issue of allocating funds from the National Wealth Fund (NWF), are currently being worked out. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.

According to him, 43.6 billion rubles will be allocated over the next 3 years for a new preferential leasing program for civilian vessels.

It is planned that the construction of about 50 vessels will be financed through this instrument.

In 2026, 5 billion rubles are envisaged for the implementation of GTLK's current leasing program for civilian inland water transport vessels.

Earlier, the relevant ministries were instructed to compile a list of vessels requiring replacement. Officials were ordered to prepare proposals for expanding the preferential leasing program taking this information into account.
